Our fee structure is based on the number of times per week you will be joining us for training:

1. Club Fees

1 day/week : $200

2 days/week: $300

2. BCSSA / SSC Fees

Non Competitive:                        $80

Competitive (under Age 9)       $100

Competitive (Age 9 and over) $120

Elite Competitive                      $140  (  Age 15-19 who wish to compete, and age 11 and older who may compete in National competitions)

We have two fees, club fees (covers club costs, ice rental) and BCSSA / SSC fees.  As a club we are a registered society who belongs to the BC Speed Skating Association.  The BCSSA in turn belongs to Speed Skate Canada.  These organizations provide our club with insurance, and provide support to clubs through athlete assistance programs, technical committees, and competitions.

We have members pay both fees but disclose the breakdown to be transparent.  This allows Families who wish to simply skate recreational and enjoy the sport ta chance to save on registration by not paying higher fees.  The skater who wants to compete, and at different levels will have an understanding of what the fees they are paying supports.

Training Times:

  •  5:00 – 6:00 pm Monday and Thursday evenings For all skaters,
  • 6:00 – 7:00 pm  Monday 6:00 – 6:30pm Thursday evenings for additional program (see General information).
